Email messages

When visitors send a message from any form on our site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the web, you should avoid uploading images with location data (GPS EXIF) included. Visitors to the site may download and extract any location data from images on the site.

Cookies

When submitting a message from any form on our website you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set several cookies to store your login information and screen display options. The login cookies last for two days, and the display options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, your access cookies will be deleted.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, rrss content, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize and approve successive comments automatically, rather than keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their user name). Site administrators can also view and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you may request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments before being sent are reviewed by an automatic spam detection service and subsequently reaches the recipient, in order to prevent and filter the large amount of spam messages and emails that reach our servers.

Online Store

While you visit our site we will keep track of:

Packages you have viewed: We will use these to, for example, show you products you have recently viewed.
Location, IP address and browser type: We will use this for purposes such as estimating taxes and shipping costs.
Shipping address: we will ask you to provide this so that we can, for example, estimate the cost of shipping before you place an order, and ship the order to you!
We also use cookies to keep track of cart contents as you browse our site.

Payments

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments some of your information will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as purchase total and billing information.
