FULL DAY
The starting point will be at the port of Capitania, then board a boat for 50 minutes to 1 hour to the entrance of the lake and then begin a spectacular hike for 1 hour to 1:30.
On the way we will be able to observe a great variety of medicinal plants, giant trees and of course animals such as monkeys, toucans, butterflies and occasionally macaws. After that we will take another rowing boat with which we will make a tour around the lake where it is also possible to see a great variety of animals such as caimans, giant river otters, turtles, monkeys, after that it is also possible to swim in the cool waters of the lake and then we will have our lunch outdoors on the shores of the lake.
Then we will make a tour to return to the shore of the Madre de Dios River where the boat will be waiting for us to return to Puerto Maldonado at 4 or 5pm approximately.
